Spring Training 2016

Every year our battalion gathers at Fort Bagley in mid Michigan to train for the summer’s campaign against the French and their Savage allies. This year we had 15 Officers, NCOs and Centinels, including one new trooper, Mike “The Butcher” Kelly. The weather was pleasant and we spent the morning marching, working on movements, evolutions and the manual of arms. After foraging in town for lunch, the afternoon was spent spent in firing drills and a short lecture on the Regiment’s history by Major Kemmer.

2013 Fall Challenge

Hey Everybody,

I’ve got some great pictures from the Battalion Fall Challenge Event, held at Fort Bagley in Houghton Lake MI on September 13th, 14th and 15th. Our annual fall challenge is a private event to build our skills, test the things we’ve learned and celebrate another excellent year of reenacting the conflicts of the 18th Century. Kalamazoo Living History Show Recap

The Battalion turned out for the Annual Kalazamoo Living History Show to run our booth, stump for recruits and let the public see what we do. We managed to get this great group shot of our booth.

Colonial Kensington 2012 is this weekend, August 11th & 12th

This weekend is the final public event for the Battalion this year. It runs all day on Saturday August 11th and 12th. Here is a nice write up of the event from the Observer and Eccentric.

Feast of St. Claire is this weekend.

The Battalion at the Kalamazoo Living History Show

The Battalion made a showing at the Kalamazoo Living History show once. This year the shows venue was substantially upgraded and the new building is very very nice. The show was roomy and easy to navigate compared to its cramped site in previous years. Below is a photobucket feed of the pictures Trish took at the show. (Explaining the random dress pictures…)

Feast of Ste Claire

We’re very excited about our first public re-enacting event of the season, Feast of the Ste Claire, at Pine Grove Park in Port Huron. We’ll be there from Friday through Sunday, May 28-30. Come out and say “Hi!”
